Welcome to Autumn Feast
Autumn Feast is now in its third year, this two day celebration of fantastic produce from the North of England offers a wonderful opportunity for visitors to meet farmers, growers and food producers and hear the story behind the taste.
As in previous years this Festival is timed to coincide with British Food Fortnight a National Initiative set up in 2001 after Foot and Mouth, to promote Food from Britain.
For the first time this year we have also included a craft section to promote locally produced goods, many of which are totally unique, one off designs, all of which have been prepared with care and attention by dedicated crafts people with a passion for their profession.
Sample, and buy, see cookery demo's, participate in workshops and enjoy live music and entertainment.
Children's cookery theatre with fun activities throughout the day, a real family day out.
The Festival will take place on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th October from 10.00am to 4.00pm. We are returning to Skipton Auction Mart, our home two years ago, this venue offers ample free parking, an easy level surface throughout, two superb theatre areas, one for the cookery theatre and one for the children's cookery school and of course there will be a wide range of refreshments, all locally produced, available throughout the day from 'bacon butties' to 'afternoon tea'.
